Supporting Every Step: Our Perinatal Mental Health Services

What to Expect During Your Initial Appointment

Your first session with Hannah will be a comprehensive, thoughtful virtual consultation designed to truly understand your journey. Together, you’ll explore:

  • Your pregnancy or postpartum experience so far

  • Past and current physical, mental, and emotional health

  • Stressors, support systems, and personal goals for wellness

This holistic approach allows Hannah to create a personalized, evidence-informed care plan that supports your individual needs — because no two journeys are the same.

Building a Plan That Grows With You

After the initial consultation, Hannah will recommend a tailored course of action based on your goals and what you need most right now. Ongoing virtual follow-up appointments will include:

  • Education and Counseling: Learn about perinatal wellness topics such as nutrition, sleep hygiene, stress management, and emotional health strategies.

  • Emotional Support: Receive compassionate guidance to help navigate the ups and downs of pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and parenting.

  • Care Plan Adjustments: Your needs evolve, and your care plan will, too. Hannah will regularly assess and refine your support strategies to match your journey.

Specialized Offerings for Deeper Care

In addition to emotional support and education, Hannah provides access to specialized services that are often overlooked in standard perinatal care:

  • Lab Work:
Comprehensive lab panels can uncover underlying health concerns that impact your emotional and physical well-being. (Please note: lab services may involve additional fees.)

  • Medication Management:
For those experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders—such as postpartum depression (PPD), postpartum anxiety (PPA), intrusive thoughts, or perinatal obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)—Hannah offers medication assessment and management in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR):
As a provider trained in EMDR, Hannah can incorporate this proven therapeutic technique to help address emotional stress, trauma, or psychological challenges related to pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experiences.
